Just try to explore and try to maximize the reach of your talent and leave this deceitful company.

It wantonly delays writers’ payment. Most of the complaints centered on the issue of payment. As one former Writers.Ph employee said, a company that does not pay on time is a clear SCAM! Writers.Ph is a scam! It has a lot of reasons to delay the salary of its writers and you don’t have to join Writers.Ph to prove it. THIS SITE IS THE PROOF ITSELF, so QUIT YOUR JOB, LEAVE WRITERS.PH AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY that treats you like a HUMAN BEING.

It manipulates plagiarism results. Many former Writers.ph employees and contract writers can attest to this claim, again— YOU DON’T HAVE TO JOIN WRITERS.PH TO PROVE IT! Many former writers— and you can see their complaints and indignations in many online forums— claim that whenever they complained about the delay of their payment, they would receive plagiarism reports indicating that the client was not satisfied and that they didn’t deserved to pay paid in full and on time. This kind of DISHONEST PRACTICE only reduces online writers into slaves. Worse, people at Writers.Ph even have the guts to demand good results from their writers whom they have deprived good pay and whom they have delayed their payment! It this not CRAZY AND RIDICULOUS?

It has the sole right to delay writers’ payment by two-months. Many already suffered this humiliating, demoralizing, depressing and TRAUMATIZING experience. Again, YOU DON’T HAVE TO JOIN THIS COMPANY TO PROVE IT!!! They have a rule that they can withhold writers’ payment anytime whenever they receive bad feedback from the client. Just imagine the very traumatizing and depressing period in which you’re going to wait for your salary. But they still have the GUTS TO TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE TO WRITE AND PRODUCE GOOD RESULTS! Heck, how can a writer write properly with that kind of policy? Where is employee MOTIVATION? Again, if you join WRITERS.PH, YOU WOULD BE TREATED LIKE A LOWLY SLAVE.

It has a very vague terms and conditions. For those who joined and suffered from this company, they can attest that Writers.Ph has terms and conditions that creates slave-pen and perpetuates journalistic SLAVERY! Again, YOU DON’T HAVE TO JOIN WRITERS.PH TO PROVE IT!!! These terms and conditions are the roots of all evils in Writers.Ph! Despite the fact that they have enticing and well-designed website, I have to tell you that what you will see inside is pure rotten system and policy that deprive writers of a dignified and respectful life.

It has the worst SUPPORT IN ONLINE WRITING HISTORY. In Writers.Ph, the Support is the one that monitors, checks, controls, and even prostitutes online activities within the system. Writers.Ph has a very unfeeling, monstrous and unsympathetic support of all. It only treats the clients well, but not its writers. It is as if they treat their writers like as low-life form.

There are a lot more of complaints about Writers.Ph and it will take a novel to chronicle and narrate the suffering of its writers in the hands of the company’s evil and immoral owners. Do not forget that we, writers, are the pillar of this business. Without good writers, there will be no nickel for them to LOOT! WITHOUT US, THESE ROTTEN MONSTERS WILL NEVER EXIST!!! They wanted you to work hard yet they do not treat you like a human being! They only want money from their writers.

Who produce the good? Who bring in the money? It’s their hard working, competent writers! But these people do not know how to run a business. They only know how to get the means to build a business, but refuse to look at the factors that ignite business success. That is why Writers.Ph deserves to die a natural death. If this company dies, it has nothing to blame but its own self.

Thus, remedies are the following:

1.    EXPOSE WRITERS.PH. Blog it! Bomb it with the truth!

2.    Spread the word in all forums and all blogs sites. Tell your experiences to your friends and to everybody.

3.    REPORT their illegal labor practices to the authority, to the media, to politicians. Election is now underway. This means that votes is more precious than a multi-million bribe.

4.    QUIT YOUR JOB NOW! Pack your things us, explore the web, and find another job.

5.  BOYCOTT WRITERS.PH

I’ve been writing for essay companies for three years and I just couldn’t believe that I would have my first taste of being scammed by a writing company which from all appearances seems to be legitimate.

I applied with Writers.ph last December when there was a lull in the flow of work from the two other companies that I write for and I was initially impressed by the way they handled my application and by the appearance and structure of their website.

Though the payout was quite low, the company’s promise of “promotion” and “advancement” seemed like a good trade off; there was something comforting about the interactivity that one would get upon logging on the site- there was tech and customer support, online chat, etc…

The first warning bell sounded when a stupid customer (sorry, but most of them are) asked for a revision without obviously reading the paper written for him and it resulted in an automatic deduction from my payment. Just like that- I complained, but there was no response.

And then it just began to slide downhill when “plagiarized” papers would conveniently crop up everytime I reminded them of my late salary- the shocking thing was that the software they were using to check for plagiarism was a low-level program that needed human qualitative analysis which they never did apply. All they keep saying was that my work was being checked by “quality control”.

It was apparent at this point that something was really wrong- they couldn’t be checking papers that had already beem submitted to the client three weeks ago..

I stopped taking new orders and realized too late when I googled writers.ph, that complaints about writers.ph were rife all over the net. I had a suspicion that they were just waiting for me to go over the edge and use it as an excuse to terminate my services. I decided that it was just money and that I could earn it again, ten times over in a way that was dignified and professional. After a strongly worded message to customer support, I discovered 4 hours later that indeed, they had terminated my services by simply de-activating my log-in name and password.

The simple fact for freelance writers- and I’ve been writing professionally since high school- is that if you don’t get paid on time, then it’s a scam plain and simple. It’s the only dignity we’re entitled to as we grit our teeth at some of the abuse and complaint heaped on us by some customers who feel that because they pay us, they’re already entitled to unwarranted and mis-informed criticism.

But the worst thing of all, is to have the company itself- and one that passes itself off as for Filipinos- to be the perpetrators of abuse.

After months of following up my payment, I was again told to wait for another 24 hrs. to have a response for my query. I am so tired that I don’t want the money anymore.

Writers.ph is a scam. When I found this out, it was too late already. They held my last payment until now. I don’t want to step down to their level.

If anyone who does not believe that writers.ph is a scam, then sign up for them. Enjoy the luxury of choosing any topic that you want to write. Aim high for big earnings. And when they say you plagiarized even without any customer complaints, you will remember us.

When writers.ph terminates your account before you receive your hard-earned money, don’t expect to receive a cent.

i have been proud that i am the most difficult person to scam. until now.

during my period of unemployment, a friend recommended that i sign up for writers.ph. they advertised themselves as an organization looking for freelance and office writers. i checked out the website and it looked like a legitimate company. i wrote speeches for my uncle while i was employed as his staff member so i thought that this would be a good way to earn while looking for a new job.

i made three papers for the site before realizing that the papers i made were for students asking the company to hire somebody to do their homework for them. i have always done my own homework and i have always believed in learning rather than passing so i was very disappointed with the website (hopefully some wise professor will read my blog and check his/her students’ projects more carefully).

then, there was the issue of payment. when payment for my first order was delayed, i said it was because of the long holiday. then, i googled the site and there it was, flashing on my screen: several complaints about the site regarding payment. i am experiencing those complaints first-hand.

i am not saying that i am a superb writer, nor that i have reached the Pulitzer level but i believe that i deserve to be credited for my work, whether they say i wrote it or compensate me for the same. and if i will be writing for someone else, i want them to tell me up front that i’ll be a ghost writer…and certainly not for a spoiled, rich kid too lazy to do his/her own homework. if only i could find a way to contact the professors of those students whose papers i have unwittingly written, maybe it could bring the organization down and stop other writers from getting scammed. believe me, i will find a way.

the “company” has taken advantage of people’s love for writing. they have capitalized on the overrated notion that love IS blind. i was blinded by my passion. hopefully, others will read the warning labels before their passion consumes them too.

I used to be an office-based research writer for this piece of crap they call a company. My advice to you is to forget about the money and just deactivate your account. Here are the reasons why I think so:

- I can see your love and passion for writing. I understand that because I share that same love and passion for the art. But what this bullsh*t company does is it exploits you, for their own benefit. There is no freedom, no venue for you to exercise creative control and no means for you to enhance your writing skills. Plus, it’s like being a slave for some lazy ass kid who cannot write his own admissions paper (yes, they do admissions papers in writers.ph, something that should be written based on experience. Pathetic)

- The stupid payment delays. They have this 5-day trial period in writers.ph wherein you get to feel their working environment, taking orders and all the crap. Then they will give yo the hiring contract after that 5-day trial period. Within that time frame, I was promised to be paid, depending on the orders I took. I didn’t take that much because I found out about the scam issues during my 2nd day. Medyo nawalan nako ng gana. I quit after the 5 days, and just decided to wait for the money they owed me which amounted to $12. This happened August of last year. I got my 600 bucks around October. Yun palang trial period na yun ang tagal nang ibigay yung sweldo, ano pa kaya kung empleyado ka na nila?

I really suggest that you just forget about the money and leave. You seem to be a good writer and I’m sure you’ll find a better job, a job that fits you, a job that you deserve. Yeah, it sucks that the money and efforts you put in will just end up down the drain. Pero mas masakit kung patatagalin mo pa ‘to kasi lalo ka lang maiinis sa kakahintay sa wala.

Sabi pa nila, itataas daw nila ang price. Nung una, naisip ko na dahil kulang na sila sa writer. Later, naisip ko na dahil baka pareho ng IP address yung fake account ko at yung original account and they concluded that it’s me all along. POssible ba yun, guys? I was thinking na may plano sila to get even once I commit the mistake of taking orders with them again.

Sa una lang ang bayad o pag walang writer-pag marami na–hahanapan ka ng butas o dahilan para ma delay bayad at iipitin nila. Pati nga sa India kumuha sila ng writers pero di binayaran.

Hhhmm… actually, my first 2 mons ko sa writers.ph parang lokohan na nga ang nangyayari… sobrang daming penalty pero as per positive feedbacks, meron naman  nag reflect sa akin at minsan nga ni-re-request ako ng ibang client. Kaso di pa talaga ako binabayaran. Last December sinabihan nila ako kung gusto ko pa daw magsulat kasi i-de-deactivate na raw yung account ko dahil di na ako kumukuha ng orders. E meron pa akong pera sa kanila so ginawa ko nagsusulat ako pero yung mga small orders lang just to stay active. Just recently, binalik na ng QA nila ang status ko tapos nakita ko moving na yung account ko. If everything works right by Jan 15-18 makukuha ko na yung payment ko sa kanila (sabi nila). Di ko alam kung dapat ko pa iyong asahan o hindi. Siguro di na lang para di masakit pag nagloko na naman ang writers.ph

Sa evidence naman, may mga natabi ako. Ni re-reserve ko iyon sa blog ko once na lokohin na naman  ulit nila ako

sa experience ko with them dapat 450 dollars babayran nila sa aken. bigla may plagiarized daw tapos un iba bad feedback. sabi ako bad feedback eh ang ganda ng rating ng client sa aken. tapos hanggang sa dapat nun june babayran na nila ako naging $200 na lang. sabi ko lokohan na ito at fabricated ang plagiarism report. so hindi na ako nagsulat hanggang sa on hold ang account ko. hinayaan ko lang hanggang nun november binayaran nila un natitirang 200 ko. pero tinawagan ko pa sila para i-push tru nila ang bayad. nakakabanas noh. tinanong ko pa un nakausap ko na si bryan na alam kong pinoy sabi ko dami nagsasabi na scammers kayo what can you say about that? sabi nila they dont care kase propaganda lang yan ng mga writers na hindi makapaghintay patiently sa payments nila! hello! kung ganyan naman sistema nila di ba? 2-4 mos ang delay? okay lang sila? sabi nila un fulltym writers nila sa ofc are earning a lot like aside from the basic salary may commission per order. yeah ryt!

It’s a big shame that writers.ph is claiming to be a Filipino company but just making a FOOL out of the Filipino writers and the innocent clients.

I started as a writer for this company 4 months ago and until now, I haven’t received my payment yet. The staff of writers.ph were just making a fool out the writers. Your income will be deducted by a revision request or a plagiarism check. It was unfair since you know for yourself that what you have written are really of quality and with properly acknowledged sources.

Lately, I learned that I was paid my salary already, yet no amount is credited to my account. Mahiya naman kayo mga taga Writers.ph. Makakarma kayo nyan.

To all aspiring writers out there, don’t be fooled by this company.

sama talaga. na-guilty pa ko kasi me naghahanap na sa kin na client. ako kinukuha lagi. e pano naman yun e sila lang nakikinabang. kakaasar talaga ano, na-scam pa ko. ngayon ko lang nalaman kung kelan kelangan ko na yung money. hayz.

writer din ako sa writers.ph. Meron silang mga biglang nakacancel na order pagkatapos mo masend yung papel. Ang masama dun, hindi ka na nga babayaran sa pinaghirapan mong isulat, ikaw pa ang magbabayad sa kanila kasi nagrefund kuno yung client (na wala namang iniwang negative feedback).  
Tas nalaman ko lang kanina, wala pa pala sa 15% ng binabayad ng customer ang napupunta sa mga writers. Akalain mong $150 pala ang binabayad nung customer para sa 6 pages (kaya pala ang sungit), tas $21 lang ang mapupunta sa writer (baka may kaltas pa kasi “somewhat satisfied” lang ang comment ng customer kaya under investigation)! Sinusurveillance na ng NBI tong kumpanyang to!

tinawagan ko ang office ng writers.ph nun friday kse deactivated na ang account ko sa kanila eh may utang pa sila sa aken. sabi sa aken ni Bruce (naks) pinadala na daw nila sa account ko. sana nga totoo because there’s no way na ma=track ko kung nagpadala nga sila.  eh nun may pa itong utang nila sa aken noh.tinanong ko sha (patay malisya kunwari) sabi ko “how come other writers say that writes.ph people are scammers?” sabi nya  propaganda lang daw ito ng mga natanggal na writers at writers na di makahintay ng slaary transfer. ay may ganun factor? sabi ko sa kanya. Eh sabi ko di ba may  in-house writers kayo jan sa ofc? they work 24/7 daw. shifting.  Aside from the basic pay they are getting per page payment. sabi ko  oh! they must be earning a lot! he encourage me to be a in-house writer. sabi ko cge punta ko sa ofc nila (chika!) kasama ko NBI pag nde nila ako binayaran hehehehe!
